Nature of Project:

  • A structural engineered retaining wall consisting of concrete and steel
  • Floor slab constructed to conform with architectural specifications and Conwy County Council building control
  • Block substructure with face work brick features to coincide with existing property as per planning permission
  • Waste drainage to coincide with soakaways

Features including:

  • Steel mesh(m10) and tire wire linked with a C3 concrete incased in 100mm solid block
  • Heavy duty plastic manholes and 110mm pvc pipes to join drainage networks. Perforated pipe for surface water drainage on a bed of pea gravel
  • Floor slab with a sand binding insulated with 150mm king span insulation and a double layer of 1200 gauge visquin finished with a C4 concrete at 100mm depth
